Victoria Falls
Lauded by CNN as one of the top seven African music festivals to attend, the Jameson Vic Falls Carnival prides itself on being truly African, from its location to its lineup, which this year will see even more talent from Southern Africa hit the stage and captivate the worldly travellers who attend.
Programme of events
29 Dec - Steam Train & Secret Bush Party
Take a vintage steam train journey that will transport you back in time. Set against turquoise and camel-colonial décor, while jamming to the new-age sound of talented local DJ’s.
This carnival ride rushes through the Victoria Falls National Park – where buffalo, rhino and elephant roam freely. The steam train will take you to a secret location deep in the African bush.
Here you will disembark and enjoy a five-hour party with some of Zim’s and South Africa’s most talented mixers until the sun sets and the sky is lit up by a canopy of stars.
30 Dec - Colour Party
The raging and rumbling of the Jameson Vic Falls Carnival bursts into colour at the central location of the Vic Falls Farm School. Put on your whitest whites, grab a handful of colourful powder and enjoy your second-last day of the year in a hue of multi-coloured partying!
The main stage will have you partying all day long with top-class DJ’s. This world-famous colour festival finally makes its appearance at the Jameson Vic Falls Carnival! Be prepared and come dressed in white with all valuables safely covered!
30 Dec - Official After-parties
Once you’ve got dirty, go home and quickly get cleaned up (or don’t) to attend one of our three Official After-parties! Keep it local, grab your friends and head on down to an Official After-party near you. Jam the night away with your mates while sipping on some smooth Jameson.

31 Dec - New Year's Festival
For the last night of 2014 and the first day of 2015 we guarantee a party never to forget! A once-in-a-lifetime New Year’s experience at one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Party amidst the ‘Smoke that Thunders’ with mind-bending acts and a phenomenal lineup.
The Carnival atmosphere will intensify with bigger, louder and crazier performances. International headliners and South African superstars Goldfish Live will keep you on your feet all night. Fresh off their residency in Ibiza, they will bring their infectious sound of catchy, electro pop to make your final hour of 2014 explosive. The legend that is Oliver “Tuku” Mtukudzi returns to the festival for the second time. After the huge success of his 2012 performance we knew we had to bring him back to perform his much-loved soulful Zimbo classics. Musical mavericks behind hits like “Pluto” and “Rafael”, Beatenberg will also take to the main stage, while dancehall legend “The Big Man” himself Winky D will keep you winding and clapping.
19:00 – Winky D
20:00 – Beatenberg
22:00 – Oliver Mtukudzi
23:00 – Goldfish
31 Dec - Green Village
Back for a second year and set at the New Year’s Festival, this area will focus on bringing awareness to charities and initiatives involved in conservation, preservation and the environment. Onsite stands will include anti-poaching initiatives, which require constant efforts to protect our endangered rhino – and the removal of alien plant species that destroy both the local fauna and flora infrastructure and negatively affect the animal population.
There will also be interactive artworks where attendees can use their recyclable cans and materials to create Big 5 game in giant proportions. Seen previously at Rocking the Daisies, these fun activities are a great way to merge awareness and creativity.
