The 702 Walk The Talk is happening this Sunday, 26 July 2015. The walk starts on Judith Road at the intersction of Hill Street in Emmarentia, Gauteng. The finish line is on the Marks Park Sports Club grounds, Emmarentia, off Orange Road. Entrants can walk in the 5km, 8km and 15km routes to fund raise for a charity, or raise awareness of an issue, or to take a stand for a principle they believe in.
Food Lover’s Market is proud to be the Official Public Catering partner to the 702 Walk the Talk.
Having a strong focus on promoting a healthy and balanced lifestyle through Food Lover’s Market’s ongoing, “Love Health” campaign – the collaboration between the two brands is ideal. Love Health is a campaign run by Food Lover’s Market and the main aim is to promote healthy living and basic fitness. We want people to get active in any way - whether it’s walking, running, cycling or playing rugby or netball. We want to encourage South Africans to keep active and eat healthy, balanced meals.
Food Lover’s Market will be delivering a mouthwatering food experience for walkers on the day – including coffee and breakfast goodies for the perfect start to what will be an enjoyable day. Furthermore, a variety of food offerings such as burgers, prego rolls, pizza slices and 'Grab and Go' meals such as salads, sandwiches and snacks will all be on offer.
Alternatively, in keeping with our proudly South African heritage, walkers are welcome to purchase braai packs and charcoal from the Food Lover's Market Braai Area and enjoy a traditionally South African post-walk braai. In addition to this, there will be a cash bar for refreshments. The Braai packs will be offered at R45 for two and will include: X2 Chicken kebabs, X2 Chops and Grabouw Wors. Charcoal, firelighters and tongs will be available for purchase.
