The Nokia Cape Town Tens, the world’s biggest Tens tournament, is just around the corner! The tournament kicks off at Hamilton’s Rugby Club on the 7th and 8th February and with the introduction of Netball is set to be SA’s biggest social sporting event of the year!
Cape Town Tens will be celebrating its 6 year anniversary in 2014 and has plenty up its sleeves. Apart from the rugby and netball action the event will offer more for the whole family – a revamped kiddies play area with child minders, rugby tots and magicians as well as more food options with the new 450m Food Lovers tent and a kids development clinic. For the older crowd there will be a ladies pampering zone with private ladies bar, a massive beer tent and live entertainment throughout the day by performers such as Goodluck, Me & Mr Brown, The Rockerfellas and Rivertones followed by the incredible DJ Sox who will be getting the crowds pumping.
Over the course of the weekend catch over 100 rugby teams spread over six divisions, including the new “Adult Tag Rugby” division, take to the fields and a further 40 netball teams go head to head.
Also get the chance to rub shoulders with various international and SA Rugby Legends such as Waisale Serevi, Zac Feau’nati, Bob Skinstad, Butch James and Percy Montgomery battle it out in the Veteran’s division.
Having just announced their title partnership with Nokia, and other partnerships with Food Lovers, UTI, BLK, Medac and FHM Cape Town Tens 2014 is set to be a bigger and better event than before.
