Racing the Freedom Challenge

The 2012 edition of the Freedom Challenge 2,300 km Mountain Bike Race Across South Africa started with the first group of riders setting out on 9 June. Every day thereafter batches of riders departed Pietermaritzburg, with the last group leaving at 6 a.m. on 19 June.
