Magnificence on the far side of fear

My mouth is a little dry. One would think that, at this moment, my heart would be pounding beyond control, but it’s not. In fact, it feels as if, in the excitement of the moment, it has taken leave of my body to watch the show and has been replaced by a barely perceptible internal buzzing that I can feel moving from my toes, through my belly and to my finger tips. It's as if I can feel my atoms bouncing off one another; I am that focused.
