PUMA has released the FAAS 600 S V2, their first shoe engineered specifically for the over-pronating runner.
The FAAS range was established in 2011 to serve the more serious runner, covering 21km to 42km distances, and the FAAS 600 S v2 has been engineered to prevent pronation for the long distance, over-pronating runner. The dual layer midsole provides increased cushioning and resilience and has an 8 mm heel-to-toe drop.
The women’s version has additional features and has been dubbed PUMA’s pinnacle women-specific running shoe. Features include a strategically placed air mesh to contour the shape of the female foot, less overlays near the fore-foot to accommodate bunions and a light-weight, women’s specific external heal counter.
The FAAS 600 S V2, retailing for R1 699, is available in PUMA stores and selected retailers nationwide. For more information about PUMA Running and the FAAS range, visit puma.com/running.
