South Africa’s premium sport and lifestyle festival, the 31st annual Pick n Pay Knysna Oyster Festival takes place during the school holidays from 4 to 13 July 2014.
The festival is expected to raise more than R1.5-million for charity. With more than 100 lifestyle and sporting events spread over 10 days, the festival offers a diverse programme of sport, gourmet offerings and family activities. The BIG5 Sport Challenge, South Africa’s most scenic multi-disciplinary competition, offers an all new entry-level ‘Lite’ option as well as prestigious Yellow Jersey ceremonies for the first time. The Momentum Weekend Argus Rotary Knysna Cycle Tour is set to feature new routes that showcase even more spectacular beauty through the forest and countryside, while entries to the Momentum Cape Times Knysna Forest Marathon and Half Marathon have reached record highs.
