This adrenaline-pumping trail adventure race will put your body to the test in the most incredible scenic settings in selected wilderness areas around the country. Due to popular demand, the IMPI Challenge is adding KwaZulu Natal as a third venue to its adventurous line-up this year.
Adventure athletes and outdoor enthusiasts can look forward to the thrills and spills and non-stop action of this unique event – a perfect combination of trail running and a military style obstacle course.
If you’re looking for a physical challenge, a team-building exercise or just loads of fun under the African sun, don’t miss this year’s IMPI Challenge. Tackle the gruelling 12km route with its seventeen obstacles at Lievland Wine Estate and Wiesenhof Legacy Parks in the Western Cape, Van Gaalens Hartebeespoort in Gauteng and Virginia Trails in KZN.
Seriously competitive athletes can tackle the IMPI Elite with its 21 obstacles over a 17km track. The Elite RACE has one of the richest purses on the South African enduro/adventure sports calendar and is already one of the most demanding ways to test an individual’s speed, endurance, pain threshold, rough and toughness.
