Second place overall for the day sees Sheldon van der Linde (16 – Ferodo Racing) move to the top of the points log with his teammate, Daniel Rowe (11 – Ferodo Racing) slipping to second. A six point difference between the two sees the fight for the title still very much undecided and the final two rounds of the season will be a pressure cooker. The overall winner for the day, Dewald Brummer (2 – MAD Racing / Grand Prix Models) now moves up to join Rowe on equal points – creating a three-way fight for the title in the final two rounds. Van der Linde set the pace in qualifying with Brummer and Shaun la Réservée (7 – Alpine Motors / Compendium Insurance) second and third quickest respectively. The trio managed to end the day overall in the same order as well.

Race one saw Juan Gerber (M8 – Haupt Racing) in pole position (thanks to the top six draw) with Brummer and Van der Linde in second and third. Ten laps later it was Brummer who finished first with Van der Linde in second and Mathew Hodges (M3 – ITR Africa / 959 Panelbeaters) in third spot.

Race two had Hodges starting from pole with La Réservée and Brummer in second and third. Again it was Brummer who claimed the chequered flag after the 12 lap race with Van der Linde in second and Tasmin Pepper (31 – PG Glass / Blue Label Telecom) in third.

In the overall results on race day, it was Juan Gerber (M8 – Haupt Racing) who proved the fastest Master overall having finished fifth in race one and sixth in the second race. Gerber was tailed by Hodges and Trevor Bland (M6 – PG Glass / Suburban Panelbeaters). Gerber also claimed the Driver of the Day award, posting his best result of the season thus far. In terms of dramatic moments, Adrian Wood (34 – Woodpecker Racing) and Shayur Harpal (26 – Ferodo Racing) both had high-speed excursions off the circuit but recovered to finish.
