Gagasi FM, synonymous for their out-of-this-world parties, will once again be hosting the ila ngil’thola khona summer take-over parties, where they will travelling across KZN to bring the best in local and international music to all their listeners.
On Friday, December 20th at 8pm, catch them at the 99% Zulu Comedy show at the Pietermaritzburg City Hall with Mzo as your host, with comedy acts such as Celeste Ntuli, Sifiso Nene, Mpukane, Felix Hlophe, Tsoro, Skhumba Hlophe, Skhulu Shangase and Smokey Nyembe entertaining the crowds. Tickets are available at Shoprite, Checkers and Computicket at R150 each.
Then on Sunday, December 22nd enjoy the Shisa Nyama hosted in Port Shepstone at Ebumnandini Gamalakhe with an entrance fee of just R50. Kini Shandu will be your host and will introduce the following acts for your entertaining pleasure: Zakwe, Bongz; DJ Vumar; DJ Lab; Bullistic; Junior Da Rocka; DJ Bruce with Kotini & Sosha.
Adding to the excitement this December, Gagasi FM will also be taking over Hazelmere Dam on Thursday, December 26th for the Durban Jazz Festival together with the KwaZulu- Natal Provincial Government were one can catch the all time greats from Hugh Masekela; Ringo; Zakes Bantwini; Zahara; Zonke; Naima Kay; Ntando; Berita; The Muffinz; Donald; Afrosoul; Abigail Kubheka; ProKid; Brenda Mntambo; DJ Nutty; DJ Muntu; DJ Siyanda; DJ Menace and some of your favourite Gagasi FM on air personalities hosting. The Gagasi FM team will be heading off the next day to Newcastle on Friday, December 27th where one can catch the battle of the Titans at the Amcor Dam Music Festival. For those wanting to end the year on a high and are wondering where to party? Gagasi FM’s “NEW YEARS EVE PMB 2013” on Tuesday December 31st at Pietermaritzburg’s Golden Horse Casino is not to be missed! It’s where you’ll get to rub shoulders with your favourite Gagasi FM DJ’s Mzolkoloko, DJ Vuma, King Sfiso and DJ Lab. Also included in the line-up are top local music artists Tira and Big Nuz as well as an exclusive performance by Mi Casa, to take you into the New Year. This is the only New Year’s Eve party in the entire country that you will get to see Mi Casa in action, with a R100 000 up for grabs for one lucky listener before midnight strikes, marking the end of the ila ngil’thola khona campaign.
