My name is Zygmund Brodalka and this weird and wonderful names comes from my Polish Father and South African Mother, but everyone calls me Zigi. Since the early 1980s, motocross has been an integral part of my life. This passion has grown from watching it, to taking part in the sport and now covering it. I started photographing motocross in 1999 and at first, I never took it seriously at first, but this all changed over the years. Motocross is an incredibly colourful and expressive sport, and there's nothing more satisfying than bringing it home to people who have never been introduced to motocross.
