Berg & Beach
Walker Bay and Hermanus are probably best known for the Southern Right Whales that visit during their annual migration. Hot on their tails were almost 100 trail runners, some from as far as Gauteng, who also temporarily migrated to these areas, to take part in the 50km Berg & Beach stage trail run in October.

Emperors Palace MTB Classic and Road Cycling Race 2012
This weekend Emperors Palace was a buzz with cyclists, on Saturday the MTB race for the more rugged cyclist that didn't mind getting the bike and kit dirty and on Sunday it was the turn of the more speedy cyclist as the Road Race it the streets of Jozi.. With both days attracting cyclists in there thousands and the DIN Events Team taking care of the final refreshment satiation and the handing out of medals the weekend was a huge success for participants and organisers alike. The weekend also supplied all competitors, family and friends with extra entertainment such as a show by Brian Capper, a kids race and a Crit (short circuit sprint race). DOITNOW Magazine would like to congratulate all the winners over the weekend in the different categories.

WCAD Series 1 - Franschhoek Race Report 04 Feb 2012

Participants were challenged to some of the toughest conditions yet experienced in any of the prior races to date.
